You can add GGE Team to your phone’s Home Screen and open it like a small app, without going through the browser each time. There is no app store, account or payment required.
Open it from the new icon: in app mode the browser address bar is hidden. Your phone’s time and battery status bar may remain visible. A plain shortcut, instead, may reopen the browser.
Android
- Open this website directly in Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu ⋮ and look for “Install app”, “Install and create shortcut” or “Add to Home screen”. The wording depends on your browser version.
- When available, choose “Install” rather than a plain shortcut and confirm. Then launch GGE Team from the new icon.
iPhone and iPad
- Open this website in Safari.
- Tap Share, the upward-arrow symbol, and choose “Add to Home Screen”. Scroll through the available actions if necessary.
- If “Open as Web App” is shown, leave it enabled. Tap “Add”, then open GGE Team from its icon.
If the install button is missing
Not every browser allows installation through a website button: on iPhone use the Share menu. If you arrived from Facebook, Instagram or another app, first open the site in Safari or Chrome. On a computer, look for “Install” in the Chrome or Edge menu when available.
Up-to-date content
The app opens the same website: articles, search, language and reading settings work as before. An Internet connection is required; articles are not downloaded for offline reading. Links to other websites may open in your browser.
